Fehr's shootout winner leads Wheat Kings to 5-4 win over Warriors

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Jay Fehr scored the shootout winner as the Brandon Wheat Kings beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-4 Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Matt Calvert scored with 27.3 seconds left for the Wheat Kings (16-10-2) to force overtime. Scott Glennie also scored in the shootout which the Wheat Kings won 2-1 after five shooters. Quinton Howden replied for the Warriors in the shootout.

Toni Rajala scored twice for Brandon, while Glennie had their other goal in regulation time.

Jacob De Serres made 39 saves in regulation and four more in the shootout.

Antonin Honejsek, Smith, Cody Smuk and Brendan Rowinski scored for the Warriors (15-9-2).

Jeff Bosch made 21 saves for the Warriors.
