Farrell scores in third as Frontenacs double Battalion 4-2, cuts series to 2-1

KINGSTON, Ont. - Michael Farrell scored a tiebreaking goal at 8:16 of the third period and Tyler Beskorowany made 28 saves as the Kingston Frontenacs doubled up the Brampton Battalion 4-2 in Ontario Hockey League playoff action on Tuesday.

Kingston's Michael Fine also scored in the third period to push the lead for the Frontenacs, who cut their series deficit in the best-of-seven series to 2-1.

The series picks up Thursday in Brampton.

Nathan Moon and Ethan Werek also scored for Kingston, which connected twice on the power play out of seven opportunities.

Barclay Goodrow and Matt Clark had goals for Brampton, while Patrick Killeen made 32 saves on 36 shots.

The Battalion went 0-for-7 on the power play.
