In case you are wondering, No. 90 for the Montreal Canadiens is no longer Tomas Tatar. His new name is Tomas Tataaaaaaaaaarrrr.

Derek Toulouse, a 20-year-old construction worker, is the reason for that, because that's just the way the Internet works. His compensation for renaming Tatar was the opportunity to meet the Canadiens forward after their game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday.

"He reached out to me on Instagram and invited me to the game," Toulouse told NHL.com after Montreal's 2-1 loss. "It's crazy. I wasn't expecting this at all. It's a lot of fun. To come to the game and get to meet Tatar, it's a great experience."
Toulouse is a lifelong Canadiens fan. He recently went viral for his enthusiastic pronunciation of his favorite player's name.

How did it start? It's fairly simple. A cameraman at Bell Centre caught Toulouse in the right mood.
"It is an easy name to pronounce for a Francophone. After a few beers, it was easy for me to go in front of the camera," Toulouse said. "It (was) only the next morning that I realized how big it was. All my friends were texting me, telling me i was everywhere."
Even Tatar noticed.

"I think he is talented, he works hard," Toulouse said. "I am really happy he plays for my favorite team now."
