Penguins fan

The Pittsburgh Penguins kicked off their Hockey Fight's Cancer night in a touching way.

Ginny Fronk, a 17-year-old Penguins fan, got to ring the cancer survivor's bell before their game against the Toronto Maple Leafs at PPG Paints Arena on Tuesday.

Fronk finished her final cancer treatments at UPMC Children's Hospital last Thursday.
That wasn't the only way the Penguins have honored those battling cancer this month; they hosted four young cancer patients and their families at a practice where they got the opportunity to meet the players and take photos.
Pittsburgh partnered up with So Many Angels, a local photography company that takes pictures of kids with cancer and transforms them to what they want to be when they grow up. The four patients posed with hockey gear and were transformed into Penguins players.

Earlier this month, the Penguins also visited cancer patients and caregivers at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
