Hey, if you are going to get a tattoo of an Ilya Bryzgalov, you might as well go for the all-timer.
Bryzgalov, the 14-year NHL veteran who last played in 2014-15, is famous for his soundbites. In 2012 when his Philadelphia Flyers were playing the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Playoffs he said, "You know I'm not afraid of anything. I'm afraid of bear, but bear in the forest."
Well, one hockey fan found the need to tattoo those words of wisdom on his body.
The tattoo reads "I'm not afraid of anything except bear, but bear in forest."
Bryzgalov, for his part, loved the ink. He tweeted, as only he could "you are the beast. I like it a lot."
The response: "Bryz likes my tattoo!!!! I can die now."
So, the tattooee is happy, the man who inspired the tattoo is happy, let's all just enjoy this moment and remember to avoid bears in the forest.
