Faksa scores twice to lead Rangers past the Otters 7-3

KITCHENER, Ont. - Radek Faksa scored two goals and added an assist as the Kitchener Rangers crushed the Erie Otters 7-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Zach Lorentz and Max Iafrate each had a goal and two assists as Tobias Rieder, Brent Pedersen and Curtis Meighan rounded out the Rangers (16-7-1) scoring.

Greg McKegg and Connor Brown had a goal and an assist each while Mac McDonnell also scored for the Otters (3-21-0).

Franky Palazzese made 33 saves for the win while Tyson Teichmann stopped 38 shots in defeat.

Kitchener scored once on four power-play opportunities while Erie failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
