NEWARK, NJ - With a goal and an assist Thursday against the New York Islanders, it's looking more and more like Robby Fabbri is hitting his stride.
Fabbri, who had a slow start to the season and was even a healthy scratch at one point, has six goals in his last 14 games after not scoring once in his first 12.

The extra production is likely the result of the hard work and tenacity he brings every night.
"Not being the biggest guy, you've got to work harder than the other guy," Fabbri told Blues radio broadcaster Chris Kerber. "That's always been part of my game. I always try to have a good compete level, tenacity on the puck and try to create turnovers."
The 20-year-old native of Mississauga, Ontario surprised Blues fans with a stellar rookie season, where he scored 18 goals and 19 assists (37 points) in 72 games. This season, he's averaging almost three minutes more per game of ice time and nearly a full minute more on the power play compared to his rookie campaign.
"Every player wants to be trusted by their coach, and they want to play in all situations," Fabbri said. "Gaining that trust and getting a little bit (more) time, it feels good this year that they're giving me more of an opportunity."
