Evgeny Dadonov to sign contract with Panthers: report

Forward returning from KHL with three-year, $12M deal @NHLdotcom

Forward Evgeny Dadonov is going to sign with the Florida Panthers, the Sun Sentinel reported Friday.

He will receive a three-year, $12 million contract (average annual value $4 million), according to TSN.



Dadonov played 55 games for the Panthers from 2009-12. The 28-year-old played the past four seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League, where this season he had 66 points (30 goals, 36 assists) in 53 games with St. Petersburg SKA.

The Panthers also have agreed to a one-year, $1.8 million contract with defenseman Alex Petrovic, who has played the past five seasons for Florida.
