Everett scores five unanswered goals in 5-2 win over Brandon

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips rebounded after allowing two goals in the game's first three minutes to defeat the Brandon Wheat Kings 5-2 Friday night in WHL action.

Dan Gendur, Vitali Karamnov, Dane Crowley, Matt Ius and Brennan Sonne scored for Everett (7-6-0-0).

Tyler Dittmer and Brayden Schenn scored for Brandon (7-6-0-1).

Shayne Barrie made 27 saves in goal to earn the win for Everett, while Joe Caligiuri stopped 31 shots for the Wheat Kings.
