Evan Pighin scores twice to lead Chilliwack over Everett 5-1 @NHLdotcom

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Chilliwack scored four power play goals en route to a 5-1 thrashing of the Everett Silvertips.

Evan Pighin continued his hot play with two goals and one assist and Mark Santorelli added three assists. Cody Smuk, David Robinson and Nick Holden also counted for Chilliwack (28-34-4-5).

Zack Dailey replied for Everett (39-29-0-3).

Mark Friesen had another stellar night in goal, stopping 26 of 27 shots for his second consecutive victory, while Shayne Barrie of the Silvertips was peppered all night, taking the loss while stopping 38 of 43 shots.

The Bruins close out their 2008 regular season schedule against the Vancouver Giants in Vancouver on Sunday night.
