Etem's overtime winner leads Medicine Hat to 4-3 playoff victory over Calgary

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Emerson Etem scored his second goal of the game 8:26 into overtime to lead the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 4-3 victory over the Calgary Hitmen in Game 3 of their Western Hockey League second-round playoff series Tuesday night.

With the win, the Tigers cut Calgary's lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series to 2-1. Game 4 in the best-of-seven is set for Wednesday in Medicine Hat.

Mark Isherwood and Linden Vey also had singles for the Tigers.

Joel Broda scored twice for the Hitmen, while Giffen Nyren had a single.

Tyler Bunz made 28 saves for the Tigers. Martin Jones turned away 29 shots for the Hitmen.
