MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Emerson Etem, Matt MacKay and Bretton Cameron all scored hat tricks as the Medicine Hat Tigers ended a three game losing streak Saturday night by thrashing the visiting Seattle Thunderbirds 11-2 in the Western Hockey League.
Taylor Gal and Zdenek Okal added goals for the Tigers (9-6-3).
Connor Sanvido and Jeremy Schappert replied for the Thunderbirds (4-10-2).
Tyler Bunz made 23 saves earning the win in goal for the Tigers. Kyle Jahraus stopped 32 shots suffering the loss in goal for the Thunderbirds.
