Last season, Lethbridge Hurricanes centerman Giorgio Estephan (2015, sixth round) pivoted one of most explosive lines in all of junior hockey, producing 20 goals and 74 points in 59 contests while playing primarily with undrafted wingers Tyler Wong and Brayden Burke.
The line remained intact this season, but when the Hurricanes traded Burke on Nov. 9, many questioned whether or not Estephan could continue to produce at the same rate for the up-and-coming Western Hockey League franchise.
It's safe to say that Estephan has answered the call.

The Edmonton native totaled seven points this past week and now has goals in four straight games as part of a six-game point streak.
Estephan kicked off the week with a three-point effort Wednesday, going low glove-side from the right circle and later rifling a one-timer from the left side in addition to adding an assist in a 5-1 win over lowly Prince Albert.

Estephan duplicated his two-goal, one-assist performance on Friday in a 5-3 win over Red Deer. The 19-year-old deposited a pretty behind-the-back feed and later cashed an empty-netter for his fourth two-goal game of the campaign.

The Hurricanes closed out the week Saturday, with Estephan knocking home a rebound in a 3-2 overtime loss at Red Deer.

Estephan has 15 goals through 24 games en route to piling up 28 total points.

OHL

Cliff Pu (2016, third round) went without a point in the week's two games as London fell 3-2 in a shootout to Owen Sound on Friday before pitching a 6-2 blowout over Flint on Sunday. Pu remains the Knights' leading scorer with 18 goals and 42 points through 25 games.
Austin Osmanski (2016, seventh round) posted a combined minus-3 rating as Mississauga lost once to Erie and twice to Peterborough before being scratched in Sunday's 6-3 victory at Ottawa.
Through 24 appearances, Osmanski has collected one goal, four points and minus-10 rating for a disappointing Steelheads squad that has won once in their last 10 games.

WHL

After a quiet start to the week that saw him go pointless in a win over Saskatoon and a loss to Lethbridge, Red Deer winger Brandon Hagel (2016, sixth round) came up big on Saturday, finishing off a give-and-go for the overtime winner as the Rebels edged the Hurricanes 3-2.

Hagel is currently tied for the team lead with 14 goals, while placing second on the Rebels with 31 total points.
Prior to being recalled to Buffalo, Brendan Guhle (2015, second round) got one last lick in Tuesday when he forced overtime with a slap shot from the left boards with 42 seconds left as Prince George toppled Vancouver 4-3. Guhle produced seven points (5+2) in 19 games prior to his first NHL recall, including four goals in five games since being dealt from Prince Albert to Prince George.
Devante Stephens (2015, fifth round) picked up one assist Wednesday to extend his career-long point streak to four games in Kelowna's 4-1 win at Tri-City. Stephens' streak was halted Friday in a 2-1 loss to Spokane, and the defender again was held without a point the next night in the Rockets' 3-1 win over Brandon.
Stephens has captured six goals and 11 points through 26 contests.
Vojtech Budik (2016, fifth round)recorded one assist last week as Prince Albert lost three of their four games, culminating with a 12-2 defeat to Regina in Saturday. The Czech defender has seven assists and an admirable minus-11 rating for a last-place Raiders club with a minus-49 goal differential.

Brown, who began the week with two shots on goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win at Northeastern, has taken a drastic leap in his second collegiate season with 15 points in 18 games.
Boston College defenseman Casey Fitzgerald (2016, third round) ran his pointless streak to four games as the Eagles defeated Northeastern and fell to North Dakota. Through 17 outings, Fitzgerald has five goals and 13 points.

The third-year starter is 8-6-2 on the year with a 2.28 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.
Notre Dame forward Connor Hurley (2013, second round) notched one assist in Friday's loss to Massachusetts, but was unable to get on the board in Saturday's 3-0 victory. Hurley has 15 points (4+11) in 16 games.
