Erie snaps 13-game winless streak as they beat Sarnia 7-3 @NHL

SARNIA, Ont. - Jake Evans and Travis Wood each scored twice for the Erie Otters as they defeated the Sarnia Sting 7-4 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Stephen Harper, Greg McKegg and Connor Brown added a goal and an assist each for Erie (4-24-1).

Craig Hottot responded with two goals for Sarnia (17-8-5) and Domenic Alberga had the other.

Ramis Sadikov stopped 25 shots for the win as Brandon Hope allowed three goals on 15 shots before being replaced by Brandon Maxwell, who allowed four goals in relief.

Neither team was assessed a penalty all game.

The win snaps Erie's 13-game winless streak which dated back all the way to November 4th.
