Eric O'Dell scores once, adds two assists as Sudbury wallops Belleville 7-1 @NHL

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Eric O'Dell had a goal and two assists, and the Sudbury Wolves erupted for five second-period goals en route to a 7-1 win over the Belleville Bulls on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

O'Dell's goal at 4:39 of the second kicked off the barrage, which came on just 12 shots against Belleville netminder Tyson Teichmann. Kain Allicock scored at 10:45, Kyle Tarini had his first of the season at 13:14, and John McFarland and Daniel Lombardi added goals 44 seconds apart late in the period.

Marcus Foligno and Jared Staal had the other goals for Sudbury (2-2-0).

Matthew Tipoff had the lone goal for the Bulls (1-2-0), who had 22 saves from Teichmann.

Alain Valiquette turned aside 39 shots to earn the win for the Wolves.
