WINDSOR, Ont. - The Windsor Spitfires scored a goal in all three periods and Andrew Engelage made 26 saves to register his first shutout of the season as the Windsor Spitfires blanked the Ottawa 67s 3-0 Thursday in the OHL.
Defenceman Rob Kwiet's blast from the point opened the scoring for the Spitfires in the first period. It was his third goal of the season and first as a Spitfire since being acquired from Mississauga on January 10.
Bragg put the Spitfires up by two six and a half minutes into the second period when he scored on an unassisted breakaway effort.
Adam Henrique's 14th goal of the season salted the game away for the home squad.
The Spitfires (28-13-5-4) had 41 shots on 67s' netminder Adam Courchaine.
The win was the Spits' second victory in two games in less than a week against the 67s (22-23-2-2). Windsor beat Ottawa 7-2 last Friday in the nation's capital.
