Doc Emrick behind the mic for Pirates game

Lead NHL announcer to provide baseball play-by-play Thursday @NHL

Mike "Doc" Emrick has called countless NHL games in Hall of Fame broadcasting career. On Thursday, he will trade in his hockey stick for a baseball bat. 

The lead announcer for NHL broadcasts on NBC will be behind the radio microphone to call part of his beloved Pittsburgh Pirates' spring training game against the Toronto Blue Jays in Bradenton, Fla.
