Emerson Etem has three points as Tigers win 4-2 over Kelowna Rockets

KELOWNA, B.C. - Emerson Etem scored and had two assists as the Medicine Hat Tigers rolled to their third consecutive win with a 4-2 WHL victory over the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday night.

Hunter Shinkaruk had a hat trick for Medicine Hat (6-3-0), which trailed 1-0 after the opening frame but exploded for three goals in the second.

Spencer Main, with his third of the season, replied for Kelowna (3-3-0), which suffered its third consecutive loss after starting the season with three wins.

Etem was recently named the WHL?s player for the week after scoring six goals and an assist in three games last week. He is now second in league scoring with 17 points, including a league-leading 13 goals.

Tyler Bunz made 34 stops for the Tigers, while Adam Brown pushed aside 29 pucks for the Rockets.
