MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Stefan Elliott's second goal of the game gave the Saskatoon Blades a 4-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors in a battle for first place in the Western Hockey League's East Division Saturday night.
Elliott opened the scoring 51 seconds into the game and Charles Inglis and Walker Wintoneak scored to give the Blades (12-3-2) a 3-0 lead early in the second period.
The Warriors (11-6-0) rallied as Thomas Frazee, Kendall McFaull and Quinton Howden scored to tie the game at 3-3.
Elliott's third period game-winner came less than two minutes after Howden tied the game with a power-play goal.
Adam Morrison made 29 saves for the Blades, who have won 10 of their last 11 games.
Jeff Bosch stopped 15 shots in the loss for the Warriors.
The teams will meet again in Saskatoon Tuesday night.
