EDM@WPG: Harkins deposits goal at the doorstep

Jansen Harkins scored twice for the Winnipeg Jets in a 5-1 preseason win against the Edmonton Oilers at Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Wednesday.

Connor Hellebuyck made 17 saves for Winnipeg, and Evgeny Svechnikov had a goal and two assists.
Brad Malone scored in the second period for Edmonton, which had not allowed a goal in its first two preseason games. Ilya Konovalov allowed three goals facing 19 shots, and Stuart Skinner saved seven of nine shots in relief.
Oilers forwards Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl did not play after playing in a 6-0 win against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday.
