WINNIPEG -- Nikolaj Ehlers scored his second goal at 9:13 of overtime to give the Winnipeg Jets a 5-4 win against the Edmonton Oilers in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup First Round at Bell MTS Place on Sunday.

Ehlers scored off a Paul Stastny face-off win after Winnipeg rallied from down three goals in the third period.
"That's our team. I mean, we don't give up," Ehlers said. "We showed a battle at the end, and it paid off."
Connor Hellebuyck made 44 saves for the Jets, the No. 3 seed in the Scotia North Division, who can advance to the second round with a win in Game 4 of the best-of-7 series here Monday.
It was Ehlers' first game since April 24 because of an upper-body injury.
"You always dream of scoring these kinds of goals," said Ehlers, who had scored two goals in 25 Stanley Cup Playoff games entering Sunday. "But for me, tonight, it was a matter of getting out there, play simple and use my speed as much as possible. But you know, this was a team effort. A full, I don't know how many minutes we played, but a full 70-plus good effort. Great game and it's exciting."
Leon Draisaitl scored two goals and had an assist, and Connor McDavid had three assists for the Oilers, the No. 2 seed.
"We're in a good spot obviously, up 4-1," McDavid said. "They go on the power play, and we can't get a kill and kind of gave them a lifeline there, and they took advantage, obviously.
"We're not going to roll over and play dead on these guys. We've got to find a way to get a win tomorrow night and we'll take it from there."

EDM@WPG, Gm3: Draisaitl powers home a power-play goal

McDavid (105 points) and Draisaitl (84), who finished first and second in the NHL in scoring in the regular season, each was held without a point in the first two games of the series.
Jujhar Khaira extended Edmonton's lead to 4-1 at 4:43 of the third period, but Winnipeg scored three times in a span of 3:03 to tie the game.
"Four goals in a playoff game should be enough to win the game," Draisaitl said. "That's not an issue to score goals. We know how to do it. We've done it all year. It's on the other side of the puck, we obviously have to figure it out."
Mathieu Perreault made it 4-2 at 11:41 with a power-play goal after Oilers forward Josh Archibald was called for tripping Jets defenseman Logan Stanley at 11:11.
Blake Wheeler cut it to 4-3 at 14:28, and Josh Morrissey scored 16 seconds later to tie it 4-4 at 14:44.
"Our power play stepped up huge," Wheeler said. "That's obviously what got us kick-started. Those guys have been so awesome for us most of the year. They scored two big goals for us tonight, none bigger than Matty Perreault's to get us back in the game.
"I think the biggest takeaway is you need to win another game. Definitely a thrilling game, definitely an exciting game, but we've got to start focusing on tomorrow pretty quick here. It's just too [darn] bad our fans weren't in the building because that would have been something."

EDM@WPG, Gm3: Ehlers goes post and in on power play

Draisaitl gave Edmonton a 1-0 lead at 6:33 of the first period before making it 2-0 at 9:10 when he scored on a 5-on-3 power play.
Ehlers cut the lead to 2-1 with a power-play goal at 17:13 of the second period.
"Two huge goals, for sure, but also kind of that positivity he brings, that energy," Winnipeg coach Paul Maurice said. "He's been off an awfully long time and then to step into playoff hockey, so difficult to do.
"Almost symbolic of the year that he had for us. Nikolaj had a brilliant year here and he's kept it going. We're clearly happy to have him back."
Zack Kassian scored off a pass from Draisaitl to make it 3-1 at 18:17.
Mike Smith made 32 saves for Edmonton.
"Any time you lose a game in the playoffs it stings," Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse said. "Any time you lose a game in the series it stings, especially this time of the year. Your back's against the wall the way ours is right now, it doesn't feel good. But we still have the ability to control our fate here, so we've just got to come back tomorrow and play. That's it."
