The Edmonton Oilers will play the Los Angeles Kings in the Western Conference First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Oilers (50-23-9) will have home-ice advantage in the best-of-7 series for finishing second in the Pacific Division. The Kings (47-25-10) finished third.
Game 1 will be at Rogers Place in Edmonton on Monday (10 p.m. ET; ESPN, CBC, SN, TVAS).
The teams split their four regular-season games, the Kings winning 3-1 in Edmonton on Nov. 16 and 6-3 in Los Angeles on Jan. 9. The Oilers won 2-0 at home on March 30 and 3-1 in Los Angeles on April 4.
Leon Draisaitl led the Oilers with four points (one goal, three assists) against the Kings and Connor McDavid (two goals, one assist) and Evan Bouchard (three assists) had three points each.
Stuart Skinner started all four games and was 2-1-0 with a .950 save percentage and 1.78 goals-against average and Jack Campbell allowed two goals on 11 shots in his only appearance on Jan. 9.
Viktor Arvidsson led the Kings with six points (two goals, four assists) against the Oilers and Trevor Moore (three goals, one assist) and Kevin Fiala (two goals, two assists) had four points each.
Pheonix Copley was 1-1-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .921 save percentage and Jonas Korpisalo lost his only start, allowing two goals on March 30. Korpisalo was acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets in a trade for goalie Jonathan Quick on March 1.

, who is currently in the American Hockey League, made 22 saves in the win on Nov. 16.
This will be the ninth time the Oilers and Kings have met in the playoffs. Edmonton has won six of the eight series, including the past four. The Oilers defeated the Kings in seven games in the Western Conference First Round last season.
The Oilers are in the postseason for the fourth straight season and fifth time in the past seven seasons. Prior to that, the Oilers missed the playoffs for 10 straight seasons.
The Kings are in the postseason for the second straight season after having missed the previous three seasons.
The Oilers are led by McDavid, who had 153 points (64 goals, 89 assists), Draisaitl, who had 128 points (52 goals, 76 assists) and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who had 104 points (37 goals, 67 assists). It was the first time three teammates scored at least 100 points in a season since Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr and Ron Francis did so with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1995-96.
Skinner (29-14-5, 2.75 GAA, .914 save percentage in 50 games) led rookies in wins. Campbell was 21-9-4 with a 3.41 GAA and .888 save percentage.
The Kings are led by Anze Kopitar, who had 74 points (28 goals, 46 assists) and Fiala, who had 73 points (23 goals, 49 assists).
Copley was 24-6-3 with a 2.64 GAA and .903 save percentage in 35 games (24 starts). Korpisalo was 6-3-1 with a 2.03 GAA and .926 save percentage in 10 games with the Kings.
The Oilers have won the Stanley Cup five times, the last in 1990.
The Kings won the Stanley Cup in 2012 and 2014.
