2.18 Puljujarvi EDM

Jesse Puljujarvi will be out for four weeks with a lower-body injury.

The forward was injured Thursday after scoring in the second period of a 7-3 win against the Anaheim Ducks at Rogers Place.
"I don't think it was a high-impact event, it was just one of those things where he got tangled up," Edmonton coach Jay Woodcroft said after practice Friday. "It wasn't anything major or dirty or anything like that. It was just one of those plays that happen in a game. Like I said, he'll be on the shelf here for a little bit, but next man up."
Puljujarvi is fifth on the Oilers with 28 points (12 goals, 16 assists) in 46 games.
Puljujarvi has scored three points (two goals, one assist) in the past four games playing on Edmonton's top line with center Connor McDavid and left wing Zach Hyman.
"I think we have good players, there's nice options and we're getting a lot out of a lot of people," Woodcroft said. "It's a credit to the work that the players are putting in."
The Oilers visit the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday (4 p.m. ET; TVAS, TSN3, SNW, ESPN+, NHL LIVE). They have won four straight games since Woodcroft was named coach after Dave Tippett was fired on Feb. 10.
