Drake Caggiula agreed to terms with the Edmonton Oilers on a two-year contract Thursday.
Financial terms were not released.

The 23-year-old forward, who could have become a restricted free agent July 1, had 20 points (13 goals, seven assists) in 67 games with the Oilers this season, his second in the NHL. He signed a two-year, entry-level contract as an undrafted free agent with Edmonton on May 7, 2016, after playing three seasons at the University of North Dakota.
Caggiula has 38 points (20 goals, 18 assists) in 127 NHL regular-season games and three goals in 13 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
He helped North Dakota to the 2016 NCAA Division I national championship during his senior season and was named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
