Eakin and Dalecky each have three points as Broncos hammer Pats

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Cody Eakin and Jan Dalecky each had two goals and an assist in the Swift Current Broncos' 7-1 win over the visiting Regina Pats in Western Hockey League action Sunday.

Eakin now has 14 goals and 17 points on the season, with six goals in his last five games after missing nearly a month with an ankle injury.

Import forward Dalecky counted his seventh and eighth goals of the season, passing the six goals he posted during his rookie campaign last year.

The Broncos also had goals from Dillon Wagner, Jordan Peddle and Matt Tassone, with his team leading 21st of the campaign.

Tomas Hricina counted Regina's lone goal.

Broncos netminder Travis Yonkman posted his 11th win of the season with a 26-save performance. Regina goaltender Linden Rowat is now 12-8-1-2 on the year after yielding seven goals on 31 shots.

The Broncos have now won three in a row and remain second in the East Division standings at 23-15-0-1. Regina remains tied for third place in the East Division with a 19-16-1-4 record.
