Dunstall scores a pair as Medicine Hat cruises past Edmonton 7-2 @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Travis Dunstall scored twice as the Medicine Hat Tigers extended their dominance over the Edmonton Oil Kings with a 7-2 rout in Western Hockey League action Tuesday night.

Goals by Dunstall, Jace Coyle, Tyler Ennis, Matt McCue gave the Medicine Hat a 4-0 lead by the midway point of the second period. Dunstall, Linden Vey and Tristan King added third-period goals for the Tigers (17-8-2-3), who improved to 13-0 all-time against Edmonton.

Brett Breitkreuz and Rhett Rachinski replied for the Oil Kings (13-15-1-3), who lost a pair of shootout decisions to Medicine Hat earlier this season.

Ryan Holfeld made 26 saves for the Tigers, who were 1-for-2 on the power-play.

Cam Lanigan stopped 20 shots for the Oil Kings.
