To rev up the team and fans before their Stanley Cup Qualifier game, the Carolina Hurricanes enlisted one of their neighbors in The Triangle who just happens to be a sports legend.

Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski did the honors as the customary pregame siren sounder, decked out in a Hurricanes jersey and masked up for safety.

The Hurricanes posted the video of Coach K cranking the siren at Duke on their social media right before their game against the New York Rangers started.

With five NCAA men's basketball national championships, 1,157 wins, and three Olympic goal medals as a head coach, the Hurricanes certainly wouldn't complain if some of those victorious vibes made their way from Durham, North Carolina to Toronto where the team will be staying as long as they keep winning.
