Ducks trade O'Brien, draft pick to Tampa Bay @NHLdotcom

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -The Anaheim Ducks acquired goaltender Gerald Coleman and a 2007 first-round draft pick from Tampa Bay on Saturday in exchange for defenseman Shane O'Brien and a third-round pick next year.

Coleman will report directly to the AHL's Portland Pirates. The 21-year-old had a 2-1-0 record in three games with Springfield of the AHL, compiling a 2.01 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage.

O'Brien appeared in 62 games with the Ducks this season, with two goals, 12 assists and 140 penalty minutes. He was drafted by Anaheim in 2003, and played for Cincinnati and Portland in the AHL the last two seasons.
