Ducks sign Yale center Antoine Laganiere

The Anaheim Ducks have agreed to terms with free-agent center Antoine Laganiere, who helped Yale to the NCAA championship, on a two-year entry-level contract. No financial details were disclosed.

The 6-foot-5, 214-pound native of Ile Cadieux, Quebec, completed his college career Saturday when the Bulldogs won the first hockey title in school history. Laganiere scored 15 goals and added 14 assists in 37 games for Yale, ranking third on the team in scoring.

The 22-year-old scored 46 goals and added 39 assists for 85 points along with 122 penalty minutes in 122 games with Yale. Laganiere was named to the Academic All-ECAC squad in 2010-11 during his sophomore season.
