Ryan Strome
signed a five-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 29-year-old forward had 54 points, including an NHL career-high 21 goals, in 74 games with the New York Rangers last season. He also had nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 19 Stanley Cup Playoff games, helping New York advance to the Eastern Conference Final.

Selected by the New York Islanders with the No. 5 pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, Strom has 357 points (130 goals, 227 assists) in 621 regular-season games with the Islanders, Edmonton Oilers and Rangers, and 19 points (five goals, 14 assists) in 37 playoff games.
