Ducks' rookie Fowler has broken nose @NHLdotcom
Anaheim Ducks rookie defenseman Cam Fowler suffered a broken nose when he was checked into the boards during Sunday's game against the Phoenix Coyotes.

After a dazzling end-to-end rush that saw him stickhandle around a number of Phoenix skaters, he tried to get a shot on net, but as he went around the goal, he appeared to lose an edge and collide with Coyotes captain Shane Doan at the same time. Fowler went face-first into the boards.

It was a hard way to end what had been a tremendous night for the No. 12 pick of the 2010 Entry Draft. Earlier in the game he had scored his first NHL goal.

The Ducks have listed Fowler as questionable for Wednesday game at the Columbus Blue Jackets.
