The Ducks have recalled left wing Ondrej Kase from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kase, 21 (11/8/95), has earned 5-9=14 points with 16 penalty minutes (PIM) in 51 games with the Ducks this season. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 2 vs. Pittsburgh and scored his first career NHL goal and game-winning goal on Dec. 1 in Vancouver.
Selected by Anaheim in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft, Kase has recorded 12-10=22 points with 10 PIM in 36 career AHL games with San Diego, including 4-4=8 points and a +9 rating in 11 contests with the Gulls this season. The 6-0, 180-pound forward has also appeared in nine career Calder Cup Playoff games, earning 1-3=4 points with the Gulls.
