Ducks-Rangers on NHL Net highlights busy Thursday @NHL
The Anaheim Ducks' traveling road show hits the Big Apple on Thursday, and the NHL Network will be there.

The Ducks continue their seven-game road trip with a visit to Madison Square Garden on Thursday night, one of 10 games on the NHL schedule. They'll be hoping for a better result than they got in Tuesday's trip to Washington, where they saw a 3-0 second-period lead turn into a 5-4 overtime loss. The Rangers, playing the fourth of a six-game homestand, are coming off a 5-2 win against San Jose on Monday.

Fans in the United States can watch the game on the NHL Network, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

The Ducks-Rangers game is one of four that start at 7. The Winnipeg Jets, who like the Ducks are on a seven-game trip, come to Long Island for the start of three games in four nights in the New York area. Winnipeg won its last game by beating Florida 4-3 in a shootout on Monday, while the Isles have been off since Saturday's 3-2 OT loss to San Jose.

The Devils travel down the New Jersey Turnpike to Philadelphia after losing 5-3 to Toronto at home Wednesday -- a game that ended a few minutes before the Flyers finished holding off Buffalo 3-2. The Leafs move on to Columbus, where the Blue Jackets have had a couple of days to savor Sunday's 3-1 win against Anaheim.

Two more games start at 7:30 p.m. ET. Chicago, a 5-4 overtime winner against Nashville on Monday, visits Florida, while Calgary tries to bounce back from Tuesday's 5-1 home loss to Vancouver with a visit to Detroit. The Wings have dropped five in a row, including Tuesday's 2-1 OT loss to Minnesota. The Wild are back home for an 8 p.m. ET start against Vancouver.

At 10 p.m. ET, Nashville continues its road trip with a stop in Phoenix. A half-hour later, San Jose hosts Pittsburgh in its first game back after going 5-1-0 on a six-game trip, and the surprising Edmonton Oilers bring their 7-2-2 record to Los Angeles. Both teams have been off since Sunday, when the Oilers beat St. Louis 4-2 while the Kings lost 3-2 at Colorado.
