The Anaheim Ducks were guests of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Angel Stadium on Tuesday, and Ryan Getzlaf made himself at home by hitting a home run.
Along with Getzlaf, Ducks players Clayton Stoner, Andrew Cogliano and Nate Thompson came out for Ducks Night. They took batting practice, and Stoner got to throw out the first pitch.
During Getzlaf's turn in the batting cage, he hit a home run to left field.
He also gave his sons the chance to take a few cuts.
Getzlaf, his sons and his teammates hung out with Angels outfielder Mike Trout before the game and chatted with manager Mike Scioscia.
The players wore special jerseys and hats with a combination of the Angels' and Ducks' logos, and Cogliano broke out fancy socks for the occasion.
The Angels even gave their players hockey makeovers on the scoreboard during the game, which they won 7-6 against the Seattle Mariners.
