young Ducks fan

Ethan Baroldi had the skate of a lifetime on Wednesday.

The 10-year-old Anaheim Ducks fan skated out with the team during introductions before their season opener against the Seattle Kraken at Honda Center.

Baroldi, who has had four heart surgeries, the most recent in 2020, was named the 21st Duck for this season.
Every season, Anaheim adds a spot on their opening night roster for an inspiring fan and honors them before their home opener.
Troy Terry, Trevor Zegras and Mason McTavish surprised Baroldi with the honor in a video posted by the Ducks on Twitter. The young hockey player also got to lace up his skates and practice with the team in the video.

Before Wednesday's game, Baroldi stole the show on the orange carpet and posed for pictures with Zegras and Terry.

Baroldi sure brought the heart to the Ducks' opening night.
