Jaimes

Emotions ran high for Anaheim-based artist Gustavo Jaimes, who designed the Anaheim Ducks warmup jerseys for the team's Día de Muertos celebration, on Sunday.

Jaimes was all smiles when he got a sneak peek of the festive jerseys.

"This is insane," Jaimes said. "Just seeing that design on the jerseys, in the stalls of the players, their names above it. It didn't even cross my mind to see this or get a glimpse of it."
Día de Muertos, or "Day of the Dead," is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes, food, drinks and celebration. The holiday is typically celebrated between Oct. 1 and Nov. 2.

After seeing his vision come to life, Jaimes was brought to tears.
Select player warmup jerseys will be auctioned off starting Nov. 1 and ending Nov. 2, with proceeds benefiting Latino Health Access.
