Cogliano suspended two games for interference

NEW YORK --Anaheim Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano has been suspended for two games, without pay, for interference against Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe during NHL Game No. 677 in Los Angeles on Saturday, Jan. 13, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 3:37 of the first period. Cogliano was assessed a minor penalty for interference.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Cogliano will forfeit $32,258.06. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
