Matt Duchene didn't waste any time outfitting his family in Nashville Predators gear.

The forward shared photos of his son Beau and dog Paisley wearing a home gold Predators jerseys after signing a seven-year, $56 million contract with Nashville on Monday.
Instagram from @matt9duchene: 🎶 Country roads, take us home, to the place, we belong! 🎶 Ash, Beau, Paisley and I couldn't be more excited to be joining the @predsnhl family! Can't wait to get started, see you soon #Smashville !
Duchene is coming off a 70-point season in 73 games with the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets. He is an avid country-music fan and captioned in photo with lyrics from "Take Me Home, Country Roads," the 1971 single by John Denver and also changed his Twitter avatar to Beau in the yellow Predators jersey.

Duchene may be excited to get going with the Predators, but Nashville is also thrilled to have him. The organization rolled out a new welcome mat for him, country music artist Thomas Rhett welcomed him to town and singer Ryan Hurd even offered to play Duchene's birthday party in January.

Duchene is ready to accept Hurd's request.
