Duchene, Lynes score two each as Brampton routs Mississauga 6-1

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Matt Duchene and Luke Lynes each scored two goals as the Brampton Battalion dominated the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors 6-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday night.

John Hughes and Cory Emmerton also scored for the Battalion (31-18-1-2), winners of four straight and continue to lead the Central Division and sit second in the Eastern Conference.

The Majors (25-25-1-1) got their only goal from Cameron Gaunce. They saw their string of two consecutive victories come to an end. They rank fifth in the East.
