After the on-ice session, forward Paul Byron and defenseman Joel Edmundson spoke with reporters via Zoom.
They were followed by interim head coach Dominique Ducharme.
Here are a few highlights from their respective chats:
Byron on playing alongside Jake Evans and Artturi Lehkonen tonight:
We're going to bring a lot of energy. I really enjoy playing with Jake and Lehky. They can skate with any player. We need to bring energy and have a good game to help the team.

Byron and Edmundson on the team's energy level

Byron on the Habs' approach facing elimination:
We have a lot of energy. All of the guys know they can play better. It's a big opportunity for the team. Everyone has to be at their best tonight. I like the energy in the room. We'll see what happens tonight.
Edmundson on the atmosphere in the locker room heading into Game 4:
There's good energy. Everyone's excited for tonight. We just want to go out there and show how we can play. I don't think we've really shown the way we can play very often in this series so far. Game 2 was the closest we've gotten. But, there's good energy. We're excited for tonight.

Edmundson on defensemen Alexander Romanov and Brett Kulak returning to the lineup:
Romy's energy is contagious. He comes to the rink every morning and all cylinders are going. He's one of the most energetic guys I've ever played with. He's always bouncing off the walls before the game. I don't think I've ever seen a happier kid just to go on the ice at the Bell Centre. Talking to him this morning, he's excited to get back out there. It's going to bring some young energy to our team. Kuly's a good skating defenseman. He played well throughout this whole season. That's the nice thing about our team. We have the depth that we can bring guys in and nothing really changes. We're excited to get them both back in the lineup.
Ducharme on the rationale behind tonight's lineup switches:
We wanted to get the line of Byron, Evans and Lehkonen back together. We believe it's a good line for tonight. We didn't want to separate the duos of Danault and Gallagher, Suzuki and Caufield, and the Staal line. We're using our depth. On defense, we wanted to add more dynamic skaters. That's why Romanov and Kulak will play.

Ducharme on lineup changes for Game 4

Ducharme on using the Danault and Evans lines against the Lightning's top trios:
It's a part of the answer. We saw the games that Jake, Paul and Lehky played together. They also brought some offense. That line plays with a lot of speed. They're tough to face. We wanted to put them back together. It was important for us.
