Dubinsky set to return for Rangers

by Dave Lozo
NEW YORK -- Brandon Dubinsky will make his return to the New York Rangers' lineup Wednesday night for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New Jersey Devils.

Dubinsky has missed the last 11 games with a lower-body injury he suffered during Game 7 of the conference quarterfinals against the Ottawa Senators. He's participated in the Rangers' previous four practices and is ready to give the sagging squad some fresh legs.

In seven games against the Senators, Dubinsky had just one assist. But he will provide a boost both in the faceoff circle and on the penalty-killing unit.

Fourth-line center John Mitchell is the lineup casualty -- he's a healthy scratch for the first time in the postseason.

Also, forward Brandon Prust is back after serving a one-game suspension in Game 4. His return forces defenseman Stu Bickel, who filled in as a forward for Game 4, back to the blue line. Defenseman Steve Eminger is a healthy scratch after playing last game.

Here are the Rangers' line combinations that they showed in pregame warmups, which had Marian Gaborik on the third line:

Carl Hagelin - Brad Richards - Chris Kreider
Brandon Dubinsky - Artem Anisimov - Ryan Callahan
Ruslan Fedotenko - Derek Stepan - Marian Gaborik
Mike Rupp - Brian Boyle - Brandon Prust

Ryan McDonagh - Dan Girardi
Marc Staal - Anton Stralman
Michael Del Zotto - Stu Bickel

Henrik Lundqvist
Martin Biron
