Drew Owsley stops 25 for league-leading 17th win of season as Americans blank Silvertips 6-0

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Drew Owsley made 25 saves for his first shutout and league-leading 17th victory of the season as the Tri-City Americans manhandled the Everett Silvertips 6-0 in WHL play Friday night.

Johnny Lazo had two goals and Adam Hughesman a goal and two assists for the Americans (18-5-0), who have won nine straight at the Toyota Center and are the only team in the league which has not lost at home.

Brett Plouffe, Neal Prokop and Justin Feser also scored for Tri-City, which has outscored its opponents 49-16 on home ice.

Thomas Heemskerk stopped 33 shots for Everett (13-7-1).
