Vincent Trocheck, C, Florida Panthers
DraftKings price: $5,300
Trocheck is in the midst of a breakout season for the Panthers in mostly a second-line role alongside Jussi Jokinen and Reilly Smith. No matter where Trocheck has been stationed because of injuries around him, he has produced consistently. He is worth trusting on a nightly basis with 3.1 DraftKings points per game on the season (49 points, 37 blocks, 162 shots on goal) and 4.2 in his past 10 games (11 points, four blocks, 29 SOG). He has one goal, one block and seven SOG in two games against the New York Rangers this season and is worth stacking with either Jokinen or Smith.
Tyler Toffoli, W, Los Angeles Kings
DraftKings price: $5,400
Toffoli's production in his past 10 games (1.9 DraftKings points per contest) is not on par with his season average (3.2), but he's back on the top line with Anze Kopitar and Milan Lucic after Kris Versteeg sustained an undisclosed injury. Considering Toffoli's DraftKings price has dropped from $6,100 on Feb. 28 to $5,400 on Monday, this is a buy-low opportunity that's tough to pass up. It's a potential Western Conference First Round preview when the Kings visit the Nashville Predators, whom Toffoli has tagged for two goals on eight SOG in two games this season. Even on such a light Monday schedule, Toffoli is priced outside the top 10 wings and off the radar after being held without a point in his past two games.
Jyrki Jokipakka, D, Calgary Flames
DraftKings price: $2,800
Jokipakka, acquired by the Flames from the Dallas Stars for Kris Russell prior to the NHL Trade Deadline, has four assists, a plus-2 rating, 13 blocks and 12 SOG in 10 games with his new team (2.1 DraftKings points per contest). He is averaging more than 17 minutes per game with the Flames compared to 15-plus minutes with the Stars, and has played more than 20 minutes in four of his past six. For $300 more than the DraftKings minimum price, take a chance on Jokipakka as your second defenseman and open up cap space to spend up at other positions.
Thomas Greiss, G, New York Islanders
DraftKings price: $7,900
The Islanders have lost three straight (0-2-1), but return home with a chance to reaffirm their handle on their position in the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Philadelphia Flyers, who are chasing them in the wild card standings. Greiss is 11-3-3 with a .930 save percentage at Barclays Center and averaged 3.6 DraftKings points per game in his consecutive losses to the Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars because of a high save volume (stopped 61 of 66 shots faced; .924 SV%). He is priced fifth out of eight projected goalies.
