Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, C, Edmonton Oilers
DraftKings price: $4,700
Nugent-Hopkins has a high shots on goal total (10) in three games since returning from a nearly two-month absence because of an injury. He finally broke through Wednesday with two power-play goals on four SOG for 8.0 DraftKings points. Seven of his 11 points with the man-advantage this season have come at Rexall Place, where the Oilers host the Vancouver Canucks on Friday. He's outside the top-six forward group with centers Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl ahead of him, but still sees power-play time and is tied for 17th in price among centers.
Justin Williams, W, Washington Capitals
DraftKings price: $5,400
Williams has a four-game point streak with 16 SOG in the span, and has been moved alongside slumping Marcus Johansson (C, $3,800). That is a low-risk, high-reward stacking option Friday against the Nashville Predators, who are on the second of a back-to-back set. The 34-year-old has been steady all season long with 3.3 DraftKings points per contest and his highest single-season point total (48 in 69 games) since 2011-12 (59 in 82). He pounced on Nashville in their earlier game this season with one goal, one assist, one block and two SOG (6.5 DraftKings points).
Zach Bogosian, D, Buffalo Sabres
DraftKings price: $4,600
Seven of Bogosian's 19 points this season have come in his past 10 games, and he's covering categories at a high level in that span with 16 blocked shots and 34 SOG. He had an eye-opening offensive performance Wednesday with one goal, two blocks and eight SOG for 8.0 DraftKings points -- the fifth time in his past 10 that he's posted 5.0 or more. He's tied for 20th in price among defensemen and plays the Ottawa Senators, who allow the fifth-most DraftKings points to opposing defensemen.
Ondrej Pavelec, G, Winnipeg Jets
DraftKings price: $6,800
It's been a rough season for Pavelec and the Jets, but he has some against-the-grain upside Friday. The Blackhawks have lost four straight (0-3-1) by a 16-6 margin and will be without injured goalie Corey Crawford, so Scott Darling will make his second straight start. Darling has struggled on the road this season, going 2-5-2 with a 3.19 goals-against average and a .895 save percentage, so Pavelec could get some goal support and squeak out a win. He remains inconsistent but has shown signs of improvement with two goals allowed in three of his past five outings.
