Here are the three things you absolutely need to know about the Sharks fourth round draft pick Jasper Weatherby (besides his amazing name).

1. Had a breakout year with the Wenatchee Wild in the BCHL, scoring 37 goals and 37 assist for 74 points in 58 games. He continued that scoring tear into the playoffs, scoring a ridiculous 15 goals and 38 (!!) points in 20 games.
These numbers earned him BCHL MVP honors and the Brett Hull Trophy as the BCHL's top scorer, and helped the Wild win the Fred Page Cup as the BCHL's playoff champions.
