ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - Frank Doyle picked up his first win of the season making 42 saves for the Sharks as Worcester edged the Abbotsford Heat 2-1 in American Hockey League action Saturday night.

Dwight Helminen and Dan DaSilva scored for the Sharks (38-20-5), while Jason Jaffray had the lone goal for the Heat (32-25-10). The goaltenders for both teams stood tall through the first 39 minutes of the game turning aside a combined 51 shots.

It wasn't until the dying seconds of the second period that Helminen put the Sharks on the board with his 12th goal of the season.

The Heat evened things up on the power play near the mid-way mark of the third as Jaffray put home the rebound off Cam Cunning's shot for his 22nd of the season.

DaSilva then picked up the game-winner late in the third when he re-directed Derek Joslin's point shot past Heat goalie David Shantz.

Shantz made 26 saves for Abbotsford in his seventh loss of the season.
