Jaskin agrees to one-year contract with Blues

Forward gets $1.1 million from St. Louis, avoids arbitration

Dmitrij Jaskin avoided arbitration and agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.1 million contract with the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.

The 25-year-old forward, who was a restricted free agent, had 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in 76 games with the St. Louis Blues last season.

St. Louis selected Jaskin in the second round (No. 41) of the 2011 NHL Draft. He has 61 points (25 goals, 36 assists) in 266 NHL games and four points (two goals, two assists) in 14 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
