Devils' Brodeur ruled out of Tuesday's game

It's likely New Jersey Devils goalie Martin Brodeur will miss at least two more games with the back problems that have sidelined him since Feb. 21.

The (Bergen) Record reported late last week that Brodeur would not join the team for Monday's game at the Toronto Maple Leafs, and general manager Lou Lamoriello told the newspaper Sunday that Brodeur was out for Tuesday's home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Brodeur, 8-2-3 with a 2.27 goals-against average and .911 save percentage, has been out since removing himself from the game during pregame warm-ups prior to a game Feb. 23 against the Washington Capitals.

Johan Hedberg has started the last four games in Brodeur's absence, going 0-3-1 while allowing 14 goals.
