The Game

The Philadelphia Flyers and Detroit Red Wings begin a back-to-back, home-and-home set at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday.

They will play at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Sunday.

The Flyers are 10-1-1 in their past 12 games and have allowed two goals or fewer in six of their past 10. They are eight points behind the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference.

The Red Wings, who are going for their third straight win, are 14 points behind the Penguins. They likely will have forward Tyler Bertuzzi in the lineup. He has missed seven games with an upper-body injury sustained in a game at the Edmonton Oilers on Jan. 22.

Players to watch

Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin, who will play his 300th NHL game, has 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in his past 11.

Flyers goalie Carter Hart is 8-1-0 with a 2.44 goals-against average and .931 save percentage in his past nine games and has allowed two goals or fewer in five of his past seven.
