Desbiens scores tiebreaker in third to lift Heat over Oklahoma City Barons 3-2 @NHLdotcom

OKLAHOMA CITY - Guillaume Desbiens scored a tiebreaking goal early in the third period to lift the Abbotsford Heat over the Oklahoma City Barons 3-2 on Saturday in the American Hockey League.

Greg Nemisz and Clay Wilson scored just over a minute apart in the second period to give the Heat a 2-0 lead.

But Oklahoma City (12-5-1) quickly tied it up with a short-handed goal by Hunter Tremblay at 11:23 of the second and Chris VandeVelde getting the equalizer with under two minutes left in the period.

Leland Irving stopped 20 shots for the Heat (12-5-1).
